This banner ad was intented to be placed on adoption websites and was created using and has images swiped from various places on the Internet. Were this to go into production, we would have to buy the stock photography or take photos ourselves. The banner ad is linked directly to Kidsaveinternational.org, making the site just a click away from the ad.
We thought carefully when deciding on the images to use in this ad. They needed to convey ideas and emotions quickly, as they are only shown for a few seconds. And although there are few words displayed, the use of the second person is crucial. The words "your heart" speak directly to the viewer, bringing the issue closer to home.
Lastly, as this is an awareness campaign, it was important to be sure to include the logo and carry through on branding efforts.
