Introduction

Kidsave International has dedicated its efforts to end the harmful institutionalization of children worldwide, and to place orphans with loving families. Presently, their main focus is on the orphaned children of Eastern Europe, but Kidsave hopes to expand their work in the future.

The general objectives of Kidsave International are extensive and many. direct hit advertising proposes to tackle the larger of these objectives through a two-pronged advertising strategy. The first of these goals is to promote their Summer Miracles program, and the second is directed toward promoting general brand/name awareness of Kidsave International.

The goals of direct hit advertising’s campaign for Kidsave International is to inspire the interest of those who wish to add an older, orphaned child to their family through the unique opportunity provided by the Summer Miracles program. These goals also include the promotion of brand awareness - especially in the eyes of generous individual/corporate donors.

To accomplish these goals, direct hit advertising has created innovative and active advertising and media strategies. The creative samples that our strategies yielded are meant to encourage a proactive response from our target audience(s), through information and emotional appeals.
